Home and Yard 1998

The objects I chose to photograph in this series are part of my environment: Miniature children's toys, an old piece of cloth, my mother's napkins, folded laundry and parts of plants. All of them trivial and unnoticed. The lens that focuses on them puts them for a moment into center stage, and awards them momentary importance.
