Sarah Knoller is a Fine Art photographer in Israel specialising in
staged, table-top studio photography. Sarah completed 4 years of Art and Photography studies
at the Beit Berl College in Israel ("Hamidrasha") after a 15 year career as a research biologist.
She was born
in Poland to Holocaust survivors and immigrated to Israel at age 3.
Sarah
is married with 2 daughters and lives in Ramat Hasharon, Israel. Sarah's first solo exhibition was "Longing for the Sea"at the Limbus Gallery in Tel Aviv which was very favorably reviewed in the culture section of the Ha'aretz newspaper. For Sarah's introduction, and to see some of Sarah's work in this series, click here Sarah also held an exhibition at the Dada School of Photography in Tel Aviv in April (2000). This exhibition comprised works from the series "Home and Yard Inventory" (1998) of which a selection can be seen here. Also in April 2000, Sarah exhibited a selection of her works at PhotoExpo in Paris, an annual Photography fair that draws over 5000 visitors. A selection of Sarah's works can be viewed at the Department of Photography and Prints of the National Library of France in Paris. Sarah's latest exhibition was at the Kfar Saba Museum in Israel (Mar-Apr 2001) and her next exhibitions will be in Haifa (May 2001) and also at the Artists House in Jerusalem (Summer 2001).
